I also prefer Mac cosmetics.

Apart from lipgloss, I don't wear make up often. When I do it's usually mascara and eyeliner . I don't like lipstick at all.

I like to wear make up sometimes and it depends on the occassion, how much time i've got and my mood will determine how much i wear.... like my eye brow waxed or threaded...if not everything looks unkempt... a bit of foundation...... mascara & lip gloss a bit more when am going out like eye shadow & blusher

Wow Belle u r so brave, i've never had the courage to try waxing, i used to do the threading but always left the Indian lady's salon with a tear in my eye :smilie_laugh: . Now i just do it the old fashion way with a shape blade.

I first got my brows waxed when I was a teen. I really needed it, my brows were really thick. I don't wax them much these days. I use a blade but I read that it's not good to use those brow shapers too often.

So as soon as I build up the courage I'll return to the salon. :)

I've never had my brows threaded. How is that done?

my favourite is Mac.............. & a bit of benefit cosmetics.....

So many women just love Mac. But isn't it expensive?

I fell in love with liquid foundation a couple years ago. It makes my skin tone so even and hides the circles under my eyes. I used the one from Sephora. I also love blush and mascara...and eyeliner if I'm feeling like a vixen. :) But these days it's mostly just lipstick and gloss from revlon.

I use MAC too but only their powder/foundation combi... My make up regime mostly consist of moisturiser, powder, mascara, lip liner and lipgloss...i don't do eye shadow unless i'm going partying or clubbing.

If any of you had to chose one make up item to take with u to a deserted island, what will it be??

Mine will be lipgloss

Mac is expensive as compared to some other brands... but for am a bit limited b'cos am not so keen into trying all sorts... the other less exensive ones i see are either on tv or on the market...... Like Revlon, Maybellean, loreal.... some i've never even heard off b4....

the ones i kno is MaryKay, Mac, Benefit, Fashion fair, Iman, Channel, Dior, Estee Lauder, Biotherm, Clarins, Origins, Givenchy etc...... but truthfully speaking i wudn't use most of these b'cos either their too expensive or just too chemicalised...... Origins is meant to be natural but very expensive...... but i do like their exfoliators cos i get dry.....

MaryKay.... i've used their lip gloss b4 & luved it but i dnt like to use things out of a catalogue, never used Iman.... fashion fair is alright... but i use mostly Mac b4 is easy to get & plus i get some DISCOUNT so i dnt feel the pinch......

Oh thanks in advance sweetheart... MAC products are very expensive their creme to powder costs ¢45 in Gh..tht's abt $40 or so. Maybelline has great mascaras and No.7 products from Boots are also not bad and not so expensive.

I use revlon and covergirl mostly. I've heard of origins before. I had a sample makeover from them at the mall. :) I've heard of mineral make up like bare minerals. It's suppose to look more natural and be better for your skin than regular foundation.

If I were on a desert island? Just give me a chapstick. Who am I trying to impress on a desert island? :P
